During the initial consultation, your therapist will get as comprehensive a picture as possible of your situation: with a focus on your illness or your wishes. If diagnoses have already been made previously, these will also help us to fully understand your situation. By listening, as well as pulse and tongue diagnosis, further important information about your health is collected. All of this flows into your personal treatment plan, which we draw up for you and together with you.
The TCM treatment
Acupuncture needles have been used to heal or relieve ailments for over two thousand years. To insert the needles, you will usually lie on your stomach or back. The puncture is noticeable, but does not cause pain, but rather a warm or slightly electrifying feeling. The needles remain in position for around 20 to 30 minutes while you can relax - occasionally some patients fall into a short sleep for this time. After the exposure time has ended, the needles are removed. Next, additional acupuncture points can be treated - or a complementary form of treatment can be added. For comprehensive therapy, ten to twelve sessions over a period of five to twelve weeks are usually necessary.

We create your individual treatment plan that optimizes the effectiveness of the treatment for your specific situation. This means you know right from the start how many sessions with which forms of treatment are likely to be necessary for your recovery. Depending on your symptoms, you will receive plant-based medicinal drops, for example, the production of which will be individually tailored to you. We also support you with appropriate nutrition and lifestyle tips, because even small changes can often have big positive effects.

The costs of our treatments are transparent and the same for all practices. They are billed according to tariff 590 in accordance with the supplementary insurance law.
REIMBURSEMENT
We are recognized by most insurance companies as a provider of complementary medicine, so you can claim back treatment costs if your supplementary insurance provides for this. If you are not sure about your eligibility for reimbursement, we recommend clarifying this with your insurance company in advance.

Frequently asked questions
What is the reimbursement by my health insurance?
For the treatments NUWA, the costs are covered by most supplementary insurance for complementary/alternative medicine. We follow the billing regulations of the health insurance companies for complementary medicine tariff 590. The proportion of the costs covered by the supplementary insurance is very individually regulated according to the insurance contract. We recommend that you enquire with your health insurance company about your entitlement to reimbursement.
The statement for reimbursement by the health insurance company will be sent to your private address, which can then be submitted to the health insurance company for reimbursement.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
We will do our best to give you an appointment as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have an acute situation that requires rapid same-day treatment.
What should I bring with me for the first appointment?
Relevant medical information, if you have it, will help us to get a complete picture: e.g. medical images, medication schedule, pain or seizure diary, doctor's referral or prescription. And also your health insurance card.
